تتكـون السـتارة الرأسـية مـن شرائح فرديـة طوليـة يتـم تثبيتهـا عـلى مسـار مخصـص في الجـزء العلـوي ويتـم ضمهـا معـا بـأوزان سـفليه وسلاسل تثبيـت أسـفل السـتارة ويتـم تشـغيل السـتائر بالكامـل بواسـطة سلسـلة وحبل . يتـم اسـتخدام السلسـلة لفتح وضم شرائح القماش ويستخدم الحبل لإمالة الشريحة 180 درجة وتدويـر الشرائح أثنـاء التحكم في الحبل وإغلاق الستارة ، كل شريحة معلقـة رأسـياً ً في الهيد ريل الألمونيوم بواسطة شداد. و المجـرى ألالومنيـوم مـزود بمكونات متحركـة تحـرك شرائح النسـيج العموديـة إلى اليسـار واليميـن.
الســتائر الرأســية متوفــرة في مجموعــة مــن الأقمشة والألوان والأنماط لتناســب مجموعـة واسـعة مـن الأماكن والأنماط.

A Vertical blind is made up of individual louvers or slats that clip on to a sliding track at the top and are joined together by weights and stabilizing chains at the foot of the blind. Each slat hangs vertically and the entire blind is operated by a chain (or wand) and a separate cord. The chain (or wand) control is used to tilt and turn the slats while the cord control opens and closes the blind.
